Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Florida and Virginia
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (mandatory requirement)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
