Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) following all DOT regulations
- Deliver freight on time and in pristine condition to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required (non-touch freight)
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for varied routes and schedules
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
