Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on various road types and terrains.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional image.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
