Responsibilities
- Complete state-approved CDL training program under expert supervision
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Deliver freight to designated locations within the Nashville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communication with dispatch
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Participate in ongoing driver development programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- No prior CDL experience required
