Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations across New York and Georgia
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and paperwork using electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Represent the company professionally with customers and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by New York State
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience (entry-level graduates encouraged)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Physical capability to handle cargo loading/unloading up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel overnight routes between NY and GA
