Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Load/unload freight securely and verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Represent Peak Logistics with professionalism and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
