Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and perform basic vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
