Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) following DOT regulations and company policies
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with Hours of Service regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and route navigation
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights/weekends
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
