Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes across Texas
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation, bills of lading, and electronic logging systems
- Maintain accurate mileage and delivery records for reporting
- Collaborate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
