Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status
- Secure and load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (training available for qualified applicants)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one
