Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Florida and the Southeast region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with basic warehouse duties when not on assigned routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends as needed
