Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo and operate vehicle controls
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- No prior CDL experience required - training provided
