Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Navigate urban and highway routes efficiently using GPS technology
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while ensuring cargo integrity
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
