Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route adjustments as needed
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience (or graduate of accredited CDL training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Physical ability to climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts when required
