Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight while adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Clean driving record with no major violations (past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent required
