Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and legality of the vehicle.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/HOS) and complete all required paperwork on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
