Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in training new drivers as you gain experience
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (or willing to train)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
