Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route progress and delays
- Assist in basic warehouse duties when required (forklift certification a plus)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
