Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment and techniques
- Represent Northwest Logistics Group professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL Permit) or willingness to obtain
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored CDL training program
