Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently within Indianapolis metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicle daily and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Manage time-sensitive freight with punctuality
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26' or larger) in good condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
