Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including semi-trucks and trailers
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No prior CDL experience required
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for trip planning and logbooks
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL through our training
