Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load and unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Document delivery receipts and handle shipment discrepancies professionally
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- No prior CDL experience required – we train from scratch!
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL license through our training program
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and delivery documentation
- Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation to our training facility
