Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Southern California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Deliver shipments on schedule and in optimal condition
- Report maintenance issues and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning shifts and occasional overtime
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
