Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Michigan routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Deliver freight to diverse destinations including industrial zones and distribution centers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage loading/unloading processes with proper equipment handling
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic logging system entries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No CDL experience required - training provided
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL license through our program
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
