Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging system entries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment upgrades
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety
