Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) following DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations within scheduled timeframes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance driving skills and industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No CDL experience required - training provided
- Basic math skills for route planning and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL license through our program
