Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across North Carolina
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Follow assigned routes while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
- Assist with freight handling and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL within 90 days of hire
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required - we provide paid training
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
