Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adapt to changing delivery routes and schedules efficiently
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL-A preferred)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Willingness to complete paid company training program
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and secure cargo up to 70 lbs
