Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver freight to destinations across the Midwest with on-time accuracy
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all hours-of-service regulations and rest requirements
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL license through our paid training program
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent required
