Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license (CDL training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL endorsement during paid training period
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
