Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight trips
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of vehicles regularly
- No CDL experience required - we provide comprehensive training
