Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport freight across designated routes with punctual deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using electronic systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL permit (or ability to obtain one)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
