Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes within NC/SC/VA
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during stops
- Participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class A CDL license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight verification and paperwork
- Flexible schedule including overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
- Must be 21+ years old
