Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) within NYC metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic navigation skills (GPS proficiency)
