Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across New York metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation according to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
- Assist with basic warehouse duties when not on assigned delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Team player with excellent communication skills
