Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Nashville metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for regulatory compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on driving assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of licensed driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook requirements
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
