Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Inspect and maintain assigned trucks before/after each shift
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- No previous commercial driving experience necessary
