As a CDL Driver at National Transport, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the region. We value safety, reliability, and professionalism above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Uphold a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEL).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred, but Entry Level candidates with a clean record are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
