Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and traffic conditions.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Clean driving record required).
- Entry-level applicants with a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
