Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in Washington and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues and update status.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for logbooks and communication.
