Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and fueling.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
