Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork according to DOT regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (or willingness to obtain with training).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
