Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in New York and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure mechanical safety
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or CDL graduate
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance protocols
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
