Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain timely arrivals
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A/B)
- Clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (if required)
