Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently following all DOT regulations
- Transport freight across Ohio and surrounding states with on-time delivery
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital systems
- Adapt to varying routes and weather conditions while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to company policies and industry best practices at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally for loading/unloading assistance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and routes
