Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Willingness to obtain required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker) if needed
