Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in Texas and Florida
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Complete required paperwork and documentation for each shipment
- Represent the company professionally at customer facilities and public locations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules
