Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in Georgia and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure roadworthiness
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience OR willingness to complete paid training program
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
