Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport time-sensitive deliveries across Wichita metro area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Assist in inventory management at warehouse facility during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Wichita-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Basic proficiency with mobile delivery tracking applications
