Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight according to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs via electronic logging system
- Adapt to flexible routes and delivery schedules while meeting on-time performance targets
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and communication
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times
- Represent Swift professionally with exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience OR graduation from accredited CDL training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be 21+ years old with U.S. work authorization
